I began using it for a week @ 6 units as requested then 9 for a couple of weeks, and now for the last few days as 12 units.
I am still on the first pen.
My question is how can a pen with only 100 units deliver over 200 units dialed in on the pens indicator?
My doctor gave me a Levemir Flex pen 100 units/ml ( U-100) for lowering my sugars?

Each Levemir pen has 300 units, so at 12 units/day, your pen will last 25 days.
Good question. Are you sure you are using it correctly? Check with your doctor, pharmacist or diabetes educator.
